A friend shared this study with me "Health Benefits of Sauna Exposure in Individuals with High-Stress Occupations"
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7908414/
According to Laukkanen et al., on the basis of the Kuopio Ischemic Heart Risk Factor, increased duration and frequency of sauna bathing decreased the risk of fatal cardiovascular disease incidences [31]. After a 15-year follow-up, a dose–response relationship was observed among sauna frequency and cardiovascular mortality rates. Participants who attended one, two to three, or greater than four sauna session a week had a reduced cardiovascular mortality rate of 10.1, 7.6, and 2.7 per 1000 person-years, respectively [31].
