Cold plunge setup ideas?

After months of lurking the community and researching saunas I finally ordered my SweatTent! I am really excited to get it set up in my backyard and have it easily accessible for regular use.

I would love to pair it with a cold plunge, does any one have suggestions for a cheap and easy cold plunge setup?

For $150 and under you can find some sort of cold plunge pod, just know that’s it’s probably not well built. Just google cheap cold plunge or even search at Target. See a hardware or animal feed store for other watering trough options. I would start cheap to see if it’s something you’re committed to consistently doing.

From there you may be able to find a cheap chest freezer someone needs to get rid of.

I use a 400qt (100gal) cooler from Grizzly and that set me back around $1200.

@jelleynation @crossfitkt You have officially influenced me into getting a Modtub 👏. The teal version is on its way. Thanks all!

I would suggest Modtub, excellent turn key ready cold plunge started by two brothers. Uses a Grizzly cooler which is the best at keeping the water insulated.

I personally have the Modtub and love it for all year round use. Then I have a plastic horse feeder for outside during our colder New England months

@freerangepapa or @andy might have some insight! I have a galvanized trough or will go jump in the ocean.
