Fire Restictions
I am wanting to buy a sweattent but I am concerned about potential violations of local fire laws. Would the sweattent be considered a closed flame, like a barbecue?

@smellypantscam The Sweat Tent is generally considered a closed flame unit similar to a barbecue. It uses a wood stove with an enclosed firebox, which limits the exposure of open flames, creating a more controlled heating environment. However, since fire safety regulations vary by location, it’s wise to check with your local fire department. They can clarify if enclosed wood-burning units like the Sweat Tent are permissible in your area.

@smellypantscam I would check your local restrictions. In Oregon when I was researching it seemed fine since it is an enclosed wood burning stove, but we have restrictions around fireplaces and wood burning stoves during times of high pollution (not directly related to fire safety).
