First Time Setup & It Burned My Turf

Hey Guys, looking to get some feedback here. I sent up my Sweat Tent XL last night for the first session. When I broke everything down this morning I saw that underneath the sauna stove it completely melted my turf. We had the stove setup on the fire resistant mat provided by Sweat Tent but that obviously didn't protect the turf. Does anyone else set this up on turf? I'm thinking that I need to place the stove on a piece wood? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I used 12 x 12 Stones/Pavers from Home Depot. The infrared heat gun rates the stove externally around 500-600 degrees. so anything plastic underneath will melt. A fire resistant mat does not repel heat just does not ignite

maybe get a bunch of flat 12X12 or larger stone squares from home depot and put them underneath the mat and put the stove on top.
