Flooring?

Just got my ST and curious what everyone uses for flooring? Can the stove sit on wooden tiles? Looking for something natural that won't give off any smells or anything.

I am using 3/4 inch good quality plywood as the floor. I may do the tile thing eventually. I have had some issues with the rain getting in under the edges of the tent, and coming down the smoke stack. The ash tray had an inch of water in it the other day. I dumped it out and the fire stoked up normally and everything basically dried out. I'm just thinking long term these issues will quickly age my sweat tent. I do have some pretty heavy logs around the outside edge of the tent. I don't want to mess with vinyl concrete - but something like that may be needed to keep the floor absolutely dry.

This is the view leaving my sweat tent. I am trying to figure out a way to share this space. TheBPlace.club

Similar to others, I build a platform with 2x4's and thick particle board. Based on other Sauna forums, I put down Vinyl Concrete, smoothed it on top of wood floor. That helps moisture run off...and avoid the possibilities of issues from the wood / chemicals.

Then I got these tiles (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VDNN7B4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1).

Fir is good and used for flooring in some places. I put cinder blocks down for the stove to be on. Works very well.

I built a floor out of 2x4's and 2x6's from Home Depot just Pine studs and it worked good.
