Not Hot enough! ?
I’m unable to get me sweat tent XL above 165-170f. (takes a good hour)
At a OAT of 30f here’s my current process to get it to 165 which takes an hour, but I’m looking to get it in the 190 range.
-Im using all dry hardwood.
-constantly feeding stove to keep temp up
-stove vents full open
-door partial cracked
- stove pipe glowing red and parts of stove
- tried closing the door to prevent heat from escaping and it just lowered the temperature
I’m thinking the stove needs to be bigger for the size of the tent.
I also thought about using some kind of fabric separator to reduce the size of room.
Any tips or advice would be helpful when it gets in the teens in NH Im worried I won’t get above 150f.
Thanks!
