Radiant heat blasting my legs...
After using my tent for a while, I wanted to share some tips & tricks. The stove blasts some serious radiant heat when it is red hot. It is an uneven heat at best. I purchased (2) 24"x24" tiles, placed them next to the stove to try and diffuse the heat. They both fractured once max heat was reached. I then purchased (2) 24"x24" cement landscape squares, $8.00 each and (8) 4"x4" landscape pavers $.32 each. I glued 4 pavers on each cement square to create an air gap so the cement squares would not contact the stove directly. I used bailing wire to hold them tight against the stove. My heat is diffused nicely and way more enjoyable. See pics. Glue was PL Premium 4 oz. Polyurethane Construction Adhesive Tan Tube. Once I had the pavers glued to the cement square, I lit the stove and cured the glue for a few hours keeping the fire stoked. This setup has distributed the heat nicely and now you no longer get blasted by the radiant heat.
