Stove Direct Heat on Shins

Similiar to what others have posted, when the stove heats up it emits direct heat against your shins that makes it uncomfortable to sit at high temps. I followed a few other solutions I’ve seen and I went to Lowes and purchased some decorative stone wall blocks. These pieces are a few inches thick but they are in the shape of Tetris pieces so thdy stack like a puzzle and it creates a nice aesthetic look while also blocking the direct heat on my legs. Very stable and a few inches between the stove and blocks allows airflow. I’ve used it once so far and it worked perfect! Got the sauna up to 200 degrees and absolutely no issues with heat on my shins. High recommend this for any permanent set up.

Cool idea! Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

Note: it appears to look like a dozen or so different sized pavers, however it’s not. It’s actually only 6 pieces that are made to look like smaller individual stones.
