Yes, I've tried (but not owned) barrel and various other shapes of larger wood-constructed saunas. This chart is slightly misleading with the barrel having both 'wood fired' and 'electric' checked since it's probably not both at the same time. I miss the smell a sauna built from wood, but otherwise the tent has been able to give me the same sauna benefits as other wood fired saunas :)
