So I have a wireless cooking probe called a Meater. I used it today to keep a relative eye on my sauna temperature as it heated up and it worked great. Meater has an app that connects to your phone so when you put the probe in the tent it sends the temperature to your phone. My tent is at least 100 yards from my house and as long as you leave the base for MEATER outside the tent but relatively close to the probe it stays connected and transmits back to the phone. At the very least you can see that the stove is heating up without having to be out there checking. If you happen to have one lying around try it out.
